Brad Obirek joined Centra Claims Management Inc in 2020. Brad has 14 years of claims experience in the Insurance Industry.

 

Brad began his career in the Insurance industry working as a clerk for Manitoba Public Insurance in 2006 after completing his studies in French and obtaining his Baccalaureate en Administration des Affaires ( BAA)  from the University of Manitoba . Following that, Brad worked as an Adjuster for Aviva until the travelling itch bit him where he decided to travel and work in Australia for 8 months. After returning back home, Brad secured a position with the Canada Revenue Agency as a Financial Analyst.  Missing the fast paced, complex nature of insurance claims, Brad returned to the Industry to work for Intact Insurance as road and catastrophe adjuster. In 2013, Brad transitioned to an Independent Adjuster working for a national independent adjusting firm where he remained until joining Centra Claims Management Inc.

 

Brad recently completed his Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation (graduating class of 2020). Brad holds his designation as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI) and is also a member of the Insurance Institute of Canada, Insurance Institute of Manitoba and Honorable Order of the Blue Goose, Intl.

 

Brad has handled various complex files ranging from course of construction and wrap up liability claims to large commercial losses exceeding 20 million dollars. Brad can read and write fluently in French allowing him the ability to handle claims in French.
